I found it in the shower drain. I would assume there is no mind perverse enough to enjoy such an excursion; all the more my heart was overflowing with joy when I encountered it. It might have been mistaken for a transparent marble, had it not been for the pulsating, filiform veins that run through its translucent body. I instantly found its presence extremely alluring. Perhaps I might have even become affectionate… The other night, when I placed it carefully on my nightstand and drifted off to sleep, I was tormented by terrible nightmares, of which I wish not to speak with you. What is truly important is that I woke up and I found myself, mouth open, salivating on my pillowcase. Whereas, my precious finding was nowhere to be found. Is it possible that it just wandered inside my mouth to be swallowed like a helpless spider?
